• Mattresses, sofas and pillows:

If your mattress is more than two years old, it may contain as many as 2,000,000 dust mites as well as mite feces and decaying skin flakes. Mattress surfaces also accumulate other allergens, in particular dog and cat dander.

We offer a chemical-free treatment for mattresses, sofas and pillows.

Our equipment uses vibration, suction, brushes, and a true HEPA filter to remove a large part of the allergens found in mattresses and pillows. The process reaches deep inside the mattress or sofa to the source of dust mite allergens. For added benefit we also use a strong Ultra Violet light to kill bacteria on the mattress surface.

The technology we use is designed specifically for dealing with allergens in mattresses and has been used successfully across Europe for over 15 years.

Optionally, we follow the allergen extraction with a spray of a tannic acid preparation to denature allergens on the mattress surface. We can then also encase the mattress, box spring and pillows.

• Carpets and rugs

We treat carpets and rugs with a moist powder containing tannic acid which is very effective in denaturing a broad range of allergens. The powder is worked into the pile to achieve contact with allergens, and left there for 4 hours to achieve maximum effect. The rugs or carpets are then vacuumed with a HEPA vacuum to remove the powder and the denatured allergens.

The treatment is particularly recommended for allergy or asthma sufferers who are not willing to give up their pets, or their carpets.

• Curtains and general surfaces

We use formulations of tannic acid in spray and liquid form to reduce allergen levels on a variety of surfaces including curtains, upholstered furniture, and general surfaces. We combine these treatments with HEPA vacuuming using industrial quality units with true HEPA filters.

We can treat one room, or the whole house, and can provide all work required, work with you or with your cleaning staff.
